Meet the District Staff

Amber Stringfellow serves as Oak Grove Union School District’s Superintendent.  Amber formerly taught elementary through secondary classes, as well as mentoring new teachers through their credentialing process. She is a former OGUSD Trustee and an accomplished administrator at both the site and district levels.  Having worked in various communities throughout Northern California, she has experience with both urban and rural school districts as well as charter schools.  Her commitment to serving all students and providing a challenging educational program has been a noted achievement. As a long-time resident and parent to 3 boys in the district, Amber has first hand knowledge of the educational program and articulation through high school. When she is not working, you can often find Amber and her three boys at youth sporting events, boating, or just relaxing outdoors.

Amy Prescott currently serves as the Chief Business Official for the Oak Grove Union School District.  She has more than 20 years of experience in the school finance field in both Sonoma and Marin counties.  Amy began her career in public schools as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant, became a District Administrative Assistant, and then moved into school finance.  She has completed the Association of California School Administrators Business Manager and Personnel Academies and the USC Rossier School of Education Business Management Program.  She is committed and passionate in her role to support, enhance and contribute to the education of all students.  Amy is a native of Sonoma County and currently resides with her husband in Guerneville.

Daniel serves as the Lead Technology and Data Specialist starting November 2023. He is a recent graduate of Sonoma State University with a double major in History and Anthropology.

Michael Boettner serves as the Oak Grove Union School District Maintenance Technician.

Dayna Farber is the Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist for Oak Grove Union School District.  She has twelve years of school district payroll and accounting support experience.  Prior work experience includes senior payroll technician, mortgage industry loan processing, and self-employed as an in-home daycare provider while raising three daughters.  Dayna grew up in the Bay Area and has been a Santa Rosa resident for 30 years.

Terese Hillborn is the Oak Grove Union School District Food Service Program Coordinator. They joined the Oak Grove Union School District in 2018 as a first grade aide. Prior experience includes event planning and management, higher education administration and academic counseling. They have more than 8 years experience working within Sonoma County Public Schools, first as a parent, an aide and now in the food service department. They have a BFA in Photography from Arizona State University and relocated their family to Santa Rosa in 2011 from Tempe, Arizona. When not in the kitchen Terese can be found hanging out with their teens, enjoying the beach and creating new dishes in the kitchen. 

Maria E. Khaleck serves as Fiscal Services Specialist and joined Oak Grove Union School District June 2019. She is a Sonoma County native who graduated from Heald Business College with an Associates Degree in Computer Business and Sciences. Prior experience includes Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Food Manager, and School Secretary. She is hard working and is happy and excited to join Oak Grove Union School District.

Michelle Leisen joined Oak Grove Union School District as the Director of Learning Support in August of 2022. Michelle brings a broad range of Pre-K through 12th grade experience that has given her the understanding and ability to create a school that fosters college and career success by supporting the whole child. In addition, she is passionate about positive school culture, shared vision and "empowerment coupled with responsibility."

Iris Lovelace is the Assistant to the Superintendent and joined the Oak Grove Union School District in December 2020.   Prior experience includes administrative assistant and middle school office manager. At OGUSD some of her tasks include assisting the Superintendent with various tasks, District and Board communication, organization of Board meetings, enrollment, maintaining District website, and supporting our Elementary and Middle School.

Sierra Ricks is the Human Resources Specialist.  She joins the Oak Grove Union School District with over 18 years of management experience. She holds an AA degree and certificate in Business Human Resources from Santa Rosa Junior College.
