FREE School Meals to ALL Enrolled Students
The OGUSD Food Service Department participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs and is committed to providing nutritious meals to students. Well-nourished students have higher test scores, increased school attendance, improved concentration, and improved classroom behavior. OGUSD serves a nutritious breakfast and lunch every school day. Our school meals offer a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk and protein.
Due to the challenges resulting from COVID-19, the United States Department of Agriculture has approved FREE school meals to ALL enrolled students for the 2021/2022 School Year. Families are not required to apply to receive free school meals. However, families are encouraged to fill out a Household Income Data Collection Form.

Why fill out an Alternative Income Form if school meals are already free for the 21/22 SY?
Filling out a Household Income Data Collection Form helps schools receive additional funding for programs that help children, families and teachers. It can also be a benefit to your family.
If your family meets the eligibility requirements outlined by the USDA, your family will qualify for other benefits such as reduced school activity fees.
